True Engineering provided design engineering services for Nixa School District’s new Activity Center. As the district continued to grow, the need for an indoor practice and activity facility became increasingly important. The new facility supports a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities—including marching band, cheer, dance, JROTC, and intramurals—allowing practices and events to continue throughout the year without weather-related cancellations.

The Activity Center is heated and cooled by large rooftop units and a variable refrigerant volume system serving the community, locker room, and teaching areas. The fieldhouse is served by two 50-ton units designed to accommodate large groups of athletes and performers. The facility also includes the first full 100-yard indoor football field in the Southwest Missouri area.
