Republic High School Activity Stadium
Performed design engineering for a new student activities stadium. The stadium consisted of a new athletic field, home and visitor field houses, commissions stands, ticket booth, and press box. True Engineering Group provided complete design and engineering services for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems along with athletic field lighting. True Engineering Group coordinated amongst vender’s responsible for security, athletic scoring, and audio/visual systems.

McGregor Elementary HVAC Upgrade
Performed design engineering for a full HVAC system replacement for a complete elementary school. The outdated and system was failing and required frequent repairs. The replacement HVAC systems included new variable refrigerant flow (VRF) coupled with dedicated outside air units (DOAS) for classrooms, offices, and library. The multipurpose gymnasium featured a dedicated packaged rooftop unit. The project required extensive ductwork modification for the new HVAC system type with compressed construction schedule. True Engineering Group also served as a project management consultant and performed commissioning.

Plaster Student Union Air Handling Unit
Performed feasibility study and design engineering for upgrades to an existing custom air handling unit with a capacity of 250 tons. The study evaluated the condition of the existing unit and options for total replacement or refurbishing individual components with consideration of cost and schedule. Upon presentation of findings, performed design engineering for refurbishing upgrades including replacement chilled water and steam coils. The existing fans were replaced with a fan array to increase performance and reduce maintenance challenges.

Bisset Elementary HVAC Upgrades
Performed design engineering for a full HVAC system replacement for a complete elementary school. The outdated and inefficient systems had reached the end of the useful life warranting replacement. The replacement HVAC systems featured new variable refrigerant flow (VRF) coupled with dedicated outside air units (DOAS) for common areas, offices, and library. Classrooms and the multipurpose gymnasium used replacement packaged rooftop units. True Engineering Group also served as a project management consultant and performed commissioning.

Liberty Library Branch
Performed design engineering for a new library branch encompassing traditional book circulation space, designated children and teen areas, and community room. True Engineering Group provided complete design and engineering services for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with advanced lighting design. Audio/visual system design was performed including projectors, projection screens, sound systems complete with microphones, and digital displays.

Heart Hospital
Performed virtual design and construction for a new heart center within an existing hospital. The new heart center encompassed three operating rooms and eight catheterization labs with clinic space, preparation and recovery patient rooms, and support areas. Coordinated with electrical contractor to model electrical components including conduits and equipment for coordination amongst other trades. Detailed coordination was required due to tight spacing with the existing structure and complex medical equipment requirements. Support for digital layout with total stations was also provided.

Colbern Road Library Branch
Performed design engineering for a new library branch encompassing traditional book circulation space, designated children and teen areas, and community room. Additional areas also include a story time room and co-working space. The library also featured a full coffee shop in a glass atrium with a raised roof. Outside, the exterior screen wall was illuminated with color changing lights. True Engineering Group provided complete design and engineering services for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with advanced lighting design. Audio/visual system design was also included.

Willard Junior High HVAC Upgrades
Performed design engineering for upgrading the HVAC systems on existing gymnasiums. The existing systems were limited to heating only. The replacement HVAC systems included packaged rooftop units for the gymnasiums and wrestling room, split systems for lobby spaces, and small variable refrigerant flow (VRF) for locker rooms. Additional upgrades included a new electrical service, LED lighting replacement, and new building automation system. True Engineering Group also served as a project management consultant and performed commissioning.
